Visit to the Seafood Expo Global 2018

   On April 24, Ambassador Hajime Hayashi, his spouse and other staff members of the Embassy of Japan visited Seafood Expo Global 2018 held in Brussels Expo. They visited the Japan Pavilion set by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and received briefings by Japanese seafood exporters.
   This year, 15 companies and organisations were present in the booths of the Japan Pavilion and promoted their products such as frozen seafood and Japanese seasonings to visitors including buyers and other food professionals.
   Also at the Japan Pavilion, Mr. Suetsugu, chef of the Japanese restaurant “Nombe Daigaku” in Brussels made demonstrations of Japanese cuisine with products provided by these Japanese seafood exporters.
