Visit to UCB
29/11/2013 On 29th November, Ambassador Sakaba visited the production plant of UCB located in Braine-l’Alleud in the province of Walloon Brabant. UCB was established in 1928 as a chemical manufacturer and stopped manufacturing chemical products in 2004, while it went into pharmaceutical manufacturing in 1985 and set up its headquarters in Brussels. The company has its development center in Tokyo and product packaging center in Saitama, and hires 325 employees in Japan. Moreover, UCB has business partnership with Japanese companies in order to strengthen product sales in Japan.
