Visit to Nikon Metrology
23/12/2013 On 23rd December, Ambassador Sakaba visited Nikon Metrology located in Leuven in the province of Flemish Brabant. The company was established in 2009 after purchase of Metris NV, a spin-off company of KULeuven and has been manufacturing and selling measuring instruments for quality control. Apart from its headquarters in Leuven, Nikon Metrology has development and production sites in the USA, Canada and the UK and employs 525 people in total. The visit was very useful to discover an example of reinforcement of cooperation between Japanese and Belgian companies.
