AW Europe 25th Anniversary Ceremony
12/05/2015 On May 12, Minister Yoichiro Yamada attended a ceremony for the 25th anniversary of AW Europe’s establishment in Belgium and made a congratulatory address. AW Europe, with a main office in Braine-l'Alleud and a factory in Mons, that together employ about 900 people, boasts being among the world’s top manufacturers of automatic car transmissions and navigation systems. At the ceremony attended by the mayor of Braine-l'Alleud Vincent Scourneau and the CEO of AWEX Pascale Delcomminette as well as many other guests, Jacqueline Galant, Federal Minister for mobility and guest of honor of the ceremony, praised the company’s great contribution to the local economy.
