Opening ceremony of Waseda University’s European Office at ULB

On 25 April, Ambassador Ishii, Ms. Kurihara and Ms. Kuzuyama attended the opening ceremony of Waseda University’s European office at ULB. Head of the office Mr. Frederik Ponjaert assumed office. The ceremony was attended by Her Highness Princess Astrid, along with a delegation from Waseda University, headed by university president Mr. Kamata. ULB President Mr. Viviers and other representatives, along with researchers of Japanese studies from Belgium and its surrounding countries gathered, making it a splendid reception.
