Douzan Fujiwara (shakuhachi) and SHINSUKE (marimba) duo concert

On 22 June a duo performance of Douzan Fujiwara (shakuhachi) and SHINSUKE (marimba) was held at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre of the Embasys of Japan, as part of 150 Years of Friendship between Japan and Belgium. Attendees enjoyed the rare combination between the Japanese traditional shakuhachi and the marinba, which they call ‘the world’s smallest orchestra’. The duo explained their instruments to the audience and performed a variety of songs, going from classical songs to original songs to their own compositions.
