Aikido Seminar Dinner
25/06/2016On June 25, a dinner in celebration of the 7th International Friendship Aikido Seminar (held on 25 and 26 June), 150 Years of Friendship between Japan and Belgium, the 30th anniversary of Kiryoku Dojo, the 60th birthday of Master Aziz and the 50th anniversary of Aikido in Belgium was held, which Ambassador Ishii and Mrs. Ishii, as well as Ms. Kurihara attended. Ambassador Ishii mentioned in his speech that aikido is a martial art to defend rather than to attack, which is similar to NATO’s role, as many of the attendees worked in NATO where Mr. Aziz teaches Aikido.
