Toyota Motor Europe’s “Made in Europe” exhibition
13/11/2014 On 13 November, Ambassador Ishii and second secretary Yamada visited Toyota Motor Europe in Brussels. Toyota first started its car manufacturing in 1971 in Portugal and achieved manufacturing 9 million cars in Europe this year. To commemorate this, the company used the open space in its building to hold an exhibition called “Made in Europe”, where they put on display vehicles etc. that have been manufactured under Toyota Motor Europe’s jurisdiction. Ambassador Ishii and second secretary Yamada had a tour of the exhibited products and received an explanation from the company’s executives on those products.
