- MEXT Scholarship (Undergraduate students)
For who would like to obtain a bachelor's degree at Japanese universities. (Applications open in April/May for departure in April of the following year).
- MEXT Scholarship (Specialized Training College students)
For who would like to study at Japanese specialized training colleges. (Applications open in April/May for departure in April of the following year).
- MEXT Scholarship (Research students)
For who would like to conduct research and obtain a master’s degree or a PhD degree at Japanese universities. (Applications open in April/May for departure in April or September/October of the following year).
- MEXT Scholarship (Japanese Studies students)

JASSO: The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) offers information on its website about study in Japan to those who go to study in Japan by their own expense and also answers questions and provides advice.

- MIRAI Program
Japan’s Friendship Ties Program “MIRAI” (Mutual understanding, Intellectual Relations and Academic Exchange Initiative) invites groups of promising young leaders from Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus, who are expected to play an active role in international society.
