Opening of “Landscapes and Portraits: Mysterious and Intimate” Exhibition
On June 2, the opening reception of the exhibition “Landscapes and Portraits: Mysterious and Intimate”, was held at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC) in collaboration with the art gallery “Art du Temps” of Arlon. The works of painter Teruhisa Yamanobe, born in Fukushima and is currently living in Paris, are oil paintings which evoke a Japanese sensitivity through the use of light and mellow colors and touches. During the opening, welcoming speeches were given by Ambassador Hayashi, Mr. Christophe Ponette, representative of the Art du Temps, and Mr. Teruhisa Yamanobe.
The exhibition “Landscapes and Portraits: Mysterious and Intimate”, is held until June 30, as part of the JICC’s 2nd anniversary celebration “Japan Month”.
