Chemistry for the Future Solvay Prize Awarded to Professor Susumu Kitagawa
On November 22, the 2017 Chemistry for the Future Solvay Prize, offered to researchers who made contributions to the chemistry of the future, was awarded to Professor Susumu Kitagawa of Kyoto University during a ceremony at the Palais des Academies, in attendance of His Majesty King Philippe as well as Ambassador Hayashi. On the following day, November 23, Professor Kitagawa was welcomed at the Ambassador's residence, where a reception was held to celebrate the award, attended by persons involved in the award and representatives of the scientific world of Belgium.
