Violin & Piano Concert

On June 7, a concert by violinist Ms. Chikako Hosoda and pianist Ms. Tomoko Honda was held at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC). Following the welcome address and introduction of the artists by Ms. Kono, the duo performed “Salut d’Amour” by Elgar, the three movements of “Opus 42” by Tchaikovsky and “Violin Sonata in A Major” by Belgian-born composer C. Franck. The audience enjoyed the passionate, delicate and lyrical melodies, and generously applauded the performers’ exceptional skill.
