Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Ticket Sales Press Conference

From June 20, the sales of airline tickets, accommodation reservations and entry tickets for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will start worldwide. In anticipation of this, the “Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Ticket Sales Press Conference” was held on June 13 at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC) by the Belgian Olympic Committee and Eventeam, the company in charge of ticket sales in Belgium. At the conference, the main Belgian press gathered, and CEO of the Belgian Olympic Committee Mr. Vander Putten said that the best possible conditions have been prepared for the Belgian national team to perform at Tokyo 2020 and he wishes for many Belgian supporters to go to Japan to send cheers lively. Ambassador Hayashi stated that there are about 400 days left until the start of the Olympic Games on July 24. The Ambassador furthermore said he expects a great performance by the Belgian athletes, while wishing for many sports fans to come from Belgium to Japan to cheer them on.
At the press conference, following a briefing about the qualification of Belgian athletes, Eventeam gave a presentation about how to book the airline tickets, accommodation reservations and entry tickets for the Olympic Games. Belgian top athletes Mr. Achab (taekwondo), Mr. Borlée (track-and-field) and Mr. Vantichelt (judo) also joined the conference, and talked about their enthusiasm for Tokyo 2020.
