On October 25, the opening of the exhibition “Existence” by Japanese artist Mr. Kunio Abe was held at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC). The Ambassador furthermore stated that this type of cultural exchange is one of the pillars which supports friendship relations between Japan and Belgium, and that he wishes for the artist to continue his activities in the future.
During the opening, a koto performance by Japanese artist living in Belgium Ms. Aki Sato was also made, adding to the grace of the artist’s works. The exhibition is held until November 7.
