Access to the consular section after July 1, 2020
From the end of March the consular section was only accessible on appointment, but, with the relaxation of the Covid-19 security measures of the Belgian Government, as from July 1 visitors do not need to make an appointment anymore. In the continuing effort to stop the spread of the virus, following measures will be adopted :
1 You are requested to wear a mask (※bring your own) covering nose and mouth when entering the Embassy building (You will be refused entry if you do not wear a mask)
2 When going through the security check, you will be requested to fill out a query about your health situation (Depending on the result, you can be refused entry)
3 To maintain social distance, only a limited number of visitors will be allowed to enter the consular section at the same time. The security officers will distribute sterilized numbered tags to keep check of the occupancy. Should the maximum occupancy be reached, you will be asked to wait outside the Embassy building.
4 To be able to receive as much visitors as possible, only the visitors applying or picking up documents will be allowed access to the consular section. Accompanying persons are requested to refrain from entering.
