Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2025

On August 28, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan announced the list of recipients of the Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2025. The recipients in Belgium are as follows:

Contribution: Promotion of KARATE in Belgium
 

• Ms VERGELS SATO Aki

Title: Koto and Shamisen player
Contribution: Promotion of Japanese culture in foreign countries
 

• Ms SAITO Aki

Title: Former Ballet Teacher at the Royal Ballet School in Antwerpen
Contribution: Promotion of cultural exchange between Japan and Belgium through ballet
