State Visit of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress to the Kingdom of Belgium (Day 5)

On the second day of the State visit, 24 June, Their Majesties the Emperor and the King visited the Castle of Namur, accompanied by the Governor of the Province of Namur and the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot.
 
In the afternoon, Their Majesties the Emperor and the King visited imec and KU Leuven. They exchanged with young Japanese researchers in imec and Belgian students studying Japanese in KU Leuven. At the University Library, Their Majesties observed precious books, including those donated by Japan in the 1920's for the Library's reconstruction, now kept at the UC Louvain.
