MIRAI PROGRAM 2024
- Japan’s Friendship Ties Program “MIRAI” (Mutual understanding, Intellectual Relations and Academic Exchange Initiative) invites groups of promising young leaders from Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus, who are expected to play an active role in international society.
- The program aims to deepen participants' understanding of Japan and its policy, promote mutual understanding, and build a basis for future friendship and cooperation between Japan and the participants’ regions.
- This program is financially supported by the Japanese Government.
- All participants are expected to share their experiences in Japan proactively through their own SNS and other media during/after the visit, and to submit a report of their stay in Japan to the Embassy of Japan.
- The program is in English.
THEMES AND PROGRAM TERMS
● The MIRAI Visiting Japan Program consists of an online pre-exchange program and the program in Japan. All participants are required to attend the online pre-exchange program before leaving for Japan.

Fill out the entry form on the website in English and upload the necessary documents within the application period. - Application Guidelines
- Valid passport copy
- Letter of Understanding
- Handling of Personal Information and the GDPR Privacy Policy
- Academic Transcript or Certificate of Enrolment (not required for young professionals)
- A Headshot (not older than 3 months)
- Application deadline: 03:00am CEST, 10 July 2024 (No extension allowed)
