The Embassy of Japan in Belgium is looking for a new employee who can start working from mid-January 2026 onward for the following position. The contract period is 6 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance.
  

1 Job Description

As a local staff member of the Administration, you will be mainly in charge of office duties. This position specifically involves accounting work, translation work, labour management, management of the office building and the official residence (including maintenance and repairs).
 

2 Profile

  • Adequate Belgian work permit
  • Business level proficiency in Japanese and French. Equivalent proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Adequate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
  • Accuracy and precision in document preparation and inventory management.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ready to take on a variety of tasks.
 

3 Salary and Working Hours

・Monthly salary 2,500 euro  –  4,000 euro (Gross salary. This is a salary guideline: experience, etc. will be considered)
・Monday to Friday. Full-time 38h/week (in accordance with Belgian legislation)
