Visit to IMEC

On 3rd June, Ambassador Sakaba visited IMEC located in the city of Leuven in the province of Vlaams-Brabant. IMEC is an international research institute established to promote nanoelectronics related research and development, where about 60 researchers from Japanese private firms are involved in joint research projects in various fields such as medicine, environment, energy, telecommunication, etc.
