Reception for Enhancement of Relationship among Japan-Belgium Sister Cities, Friendly Cities and Friendship Ports

On 8 October, ambassador ishii held a reception at the Residence for Belgian representatives of Japan-Belgium Sister Cities, Friendly Cities and Friendship ports. Many attended from those cities and ports. There are 8 sister cities, 2 friendly cities and 2 friendship ports between Japan and Belgium. Ambasssador Ishii expressed in his speech his hope to enhance each twinning relationship further and asked for cooperation for the 150 Years of Friendship between Japan and Belgium in 2016. Attendees discussed and exchanged information especially on next year's events and strengthened their networks.
