Opening Event of “Japon - Masques de soi”

On June 8, the exhibition “Japon - Masques de soi”, a collaboration with the International Carnival and Mask Museum of Binche on the occasion of the 150 Years of Friendship between Japan and Belgium, was officially opened at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre. Following introductory speeches by Ambassador Ishii and the curator of the mask museum, the attendants enjoyed the items on display. “Japon - Masques de soi” is held until July 1. The exhibition is a preview of a larger exhibition, which will be held at the mask museum in Binche from this fall onwards.
