Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette on Mr. Jacques Paul Beherman

On July 21st, the Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays on Mr. Jacques Paul Beherman, Managing Director of Park Ragheno, Former Director of the Belgium-Japan Association and Chamber of Commerce (BJA), was held at the Official Residence of Ambassador of Japan in Belgium. Ambassador Hayashi expressed his deepest gratitude to Mr. Beherman for his contributions to the reinforcement of economic relations between Japan and Belgium.

Co-founder of the Belgian-Japanese Trade Federation (BEJAT) in 1987, Mr. Beherman contributed to an advance of Japanese companies and a sales promotion of Japanese products in Europe as well as closer business ties between Belgium and Japan.

In a position of leadership as Director of the BJA, founded in 1991 by the merger of the BEJAT and the Belgian-Japanese Association, Mr. Beherman also contributed to a promotion of mutual understanding through exchanges between two peoples of Belgium and Japan.
