Sumi-ism # 2 Exhibition Opening and Reception

On November 9, the opening reception of the exhibition “Sumi-ism # 2” by Japanese artist Ms. Chiko Takei was held at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC). Participants eagerly appreciated the new abstract expressionist paintings, using Sumi ink, and enjoyed interacting directly with the artist. During the opening, a performance of the koto (Japanese traditional instrument) was given by Ms. Aki Sato. The exhibition “Sumi-ism # 2” is held until November 20.
