Football Match Japan vs. Ukraine

On March 27, following the football match Japan – Mali held on March 23, the match Japan – Ukraine between the Japan National Football Team (Samurai Blue) and Ukraine’s National Football Team, was held in Liège. Ambassador Hayashi, his spouse and Ms. Kono watched the game from the stands.
Just before the beginning of the game, Ambassador Hayashi, together with Vice-President of the Japanese Football Association Mr. Iwakami, Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Tochytskyi and other representatives from both sides, encouraged the football players. Unfortunately, Japan lost the match with 2-1, but we hope the Japan National Football Team will put up a good fight for the upcoming World Cup which is to be held this year in Russia.
