Etterbeek Junior High School Visit to the JICC
On March 28, 15 students of Koninklijk Atheneum (Junior High School) Etterbeek, Brussels, visited the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC). Ms. Kono welcomed the students, after which they viewed two short films about Japan and took part in a quiz on topics such as geography, economy and culture, followed by a Q&A session. After this, the students tried writing their names in katakana. At the end of the visit they took a picture together with Paro, the Japanese therapeutic baby seal robot. We hope that the visit to the JICC was an opportunity for the students who participated to gain more interest in Japan.
