Courtesy Call to H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Kris Peeters

　　　On April 27, 2018, Ambassador Hayashi paid a courtesy call to H.E.Mr Kris Peeters, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Employment and Economy.
　　　They exchanged views on upcoming measures and events which would further stimulate economic exchanges between Japan and Belgium, such as the Tax Convention between Japan and Belgium signed in October 2016, the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) whose negotiations were finalised in December 2017, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as World Expo 2025 for which Osaka city is a candidate.
