Daikin Europe’s 45th Anniversary Celebration

On September 13, Ambassador Hayashi attended Daikin Europe’s 45th Anniversary Celebration Event held in the City of Ostend. Mr. Tommelein, Deputy Minister-President of Flemish Government, Mr. Vande Lanotte, Mayor of Ostend, Mr. Decaluwé, Governor of the Province of West Flanders, as well as those from Japanese and Belgian companies, over 500 in total, attended the ceremony. In his celebratory remarks, Ambassador Hayashi praised the trustful relations that Daikin Europe has maintained with its clients, employees and local community, which resulted in the success for a long time. Daikin Europe was established in 1973 in Ostend as the company’s first large scale operations abroad.
