Etterbeek Junior High School Visit to the JICC

2019/4/5

On April 3, 15 students of the Koninklijk Atheneum (Junior High School) Etterbeek, Brussels, visited the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC). Ms. Kono, Director of the JICC, welcomed the students, after which they viewed short films and took part in a quiz on topics such as geography, economy and culture about Japan. Following this, there was a Q&A session and a game in which the students had to use chopsticks to pick up beans, before they tried writing their names in katakana. At the end of the visit, a group picture was taken together with Paro, the Japanese therapeutic baby seal robot. This year was the third time for the Koninklijk Atheneum Etterbeek to organize such a visit to the JICC, and we look forward to welcoming everyone again!
