“Transient Landscapes” Opening Reception
On September 2, the opening of the exhibition “Transient Landscapes” by the Japanese artist residing in Europe Ms. Koyuki Kazahaya was held at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC). Ms. Kazahaya is a remarkable artist who has studied in both Japan and Belgium (Antwerp), and has organized many solo and group exhibitions in Japan and Europe. She is currently residing in Spain and Belgium, where she is energetically creating her works. The works shown in the exhibition held presently in the JICC, feature motifs of landscapes drawn with charcoal and other techniques, such as woodblock printing, oil painting and watercolors. They express the flow of time, and were eagerly appreciated by those present at the opening. The exhibition is held until September 20.
