[Ambassador] French-language Haiku Contest Award Ceremony 2020-2021

Ambassador Shimokawa attended the Award Ceremony of the French Haiku Contest held at the Residence of the French Ambassador to Belgium. This competition has been held every year since 2009 mainly for students studying French in the Flemish and German regions of Belgium with the aim of improving French expression through haiku, a form of traditional Japanese poetry.
The ambassador Shimokawa presented a trophy to Mr. Luc-Henri De Clerq, who received the Japan Ambassador's Award for the following haiku:
