【Ambassador】Tempei Nakamura Piano Concert

On June 20, the Embassy hosted Mr. Tempei Nakamura's piano concert at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC). Many guests, as well as Ambassador Mikami, attended the event and the hall was packed with the excited audience. This is his 6^th visit to Brussels and some of the guests are regular visitors who have been fascinated with the beautiful sound of his piano. The audience was particularly overwhelmed with his original compositions such as ‘Ichigo-Ichie’ and ‘Phoenix’ and some film music. For an encore, he played a piece in memory of Mr. Ryuichi Sakamoto, which was met with a huge round of applause.
