[Embassy] Opening event [Fragments of Japan] exhibition

On the 12th of April, the Japan Information and Cultural Centre hosted the opening event for the “Fragments of Japan” exhibition by Ms. Anneleen Bertels and Mr. Waldo De Keersmaecker. Brussels architect Waldo De Keersmaecker and textile designer Anneleen Bertels spent three months in Japan researching textile and traditional crafts. Through their contact with local artisans (mainly woodworkers and textile designers), they gained a detailed picture of Japanese creativity.
