[Embassy] Opening exhibition: Clarice Prache – The Japan Connection

On June 5, our Embassy hosted the opening event for the exhibition “Clarice Prache – The Japan Connection”. This exhibition marks the first public display of key artworks by Clarice Prache (1995-2018) that are deeply intertwined with her relationship with Japan and its rich cultural heritage. Ms. Clarice Prache was a visual artist, born in Lyon to a French father and a mother with Japanese roots. It is her mother and grandmother that transmitted their love for Japan to her since a young age.

This exhibition serves as a tribute to Clarice and her work, which shows the strong cultural connection with Japan. You can visit the exhibition until the 21st of June 2024 at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre.
